My favorite movie this summer was without a doubt The Hangover (probably my favorite movie of all time!)
Anyway, after watching the movie a couple of times I got to thinking about investors (myself included) that have experienced hangovers from doing real estate deals.
Sounds far fetched until you’ve got involved with that deal where everything seems to go wrong.
And it brings you to your knees.
When I first started in the business I had a few of these where I got my nose bloodied, and was forced to push through picking up the pieces.
As a matter of fact, a lot of the stuff I write about on this blog never comes from a holier than thou standpoint, but rather from a point of learning from my own experiences whether it’s positive or negative.
And since these first deal I’ve learned from my mistakes and now use techniques that limit my risks and keep me from having the dreaded real estate hangover.
Watch the video and tell me if you’re seeing double (could you be having a little to much right now?) and rate it and comment. I’d love to hear your hangover stories in the comments section below.

I’m still on a 3yr hangover, with no sight of sobriety on the horizon. Yep, got me a doozy….everything you’re talking about. Plummeting market values, deadbeat tenants who were masters of destruction. This place is not only a Royal Pain, it is has been a bottomless Money-Pit…a total drain, regardless of how you look at it. Got something up your sleeve for “Hangover Relief”? Bring it on!
